ABOUT THE PROJECT We were thrilled to be involved with the renovations to the Vasse Felix winery’s restaurant, gallery area and historic museum ‘The Vault’. A substantial overhaul and reconfiguration of the whole building led to the Melbourne based architects specifying feature concrete troughs for the new bathrooms.
The internal area of the concrete trough sinks slope towards a central slot drain, while the piece appears to float effortlessly in the alcove space. This was achieved by hiding the steel support structure behind the false apron edge of the trough.
These were a great result and we are pleased to now be providing more concrete creations elsewhere on the estate.
