A hands-on, detail orientated GFRC fabrication course, including theory but mostly lots of practice in the workshop with our fabricators.

The courses run from 8am to 4pm both days with a break for a hearty lunch (provided by us).

Moulds

Casting
- Mix design and methods
- Spraying GFRC mist and backing coats
- Applying reinforcements
- Creating weight-saving voids and foam-core concrete
- Demoulding, handling and storage
Polishing / Sealing
- Prepping cured concrete for finishing
- Different types of sealers and their applications
- Grouting pinholes
- Polishing and detailing
- Packing, handling and storage for delivery.

What you will make
On the course you will make at least the following:
a vanity top with integrated basin (RRP $2290)
a small reinforced table top / bench top (RRP $500)
All of these are yours to keep if you wish.
That is $2790 of finished products as well as the knowledge to keep making more high quality GFRC.
This is a hands-on course with a couple of hours practical at the start of each day. You do all the making
